Wonderful, powerful piece, Lee. In many ways, the world seems to get less whole by the day. The fate of women and girls in Afghanistan now that the Taliban are again in control is truly terrible. Girls only allowed to be educated to grade 6. Women not allowed on a plane without a male relative accompanying them. So sad.
