My mother was agoraphobic. As a result of her fear of going out and social interaction, her world became smaller and smaller. Sometimes I think that this pandemic has made many of us somewhat agoraphobic. Yes, there is risk "out there," but there is risk in retreating into our small, "safe" corners as well.
