Maybe it's weird, or pathetic. But I actually feel like I have friends here, on Medium, including you. Still, I get that you won't be coming to my funeral.

I read a story on Medium this morning by Nazim Ozer ("7 Facts You'll Be Really Surprised To Read), that said in Amsterdam, "if you don’t have any friends or family to come to your funeral, a poet will write a poem that tells your life story. In addition, a retired civil servant goes to your house and pays your remaining bills and chooses the songs to play at your funeral. These people will again attend your funeral, leave flowers on your coffin and accompany you to your grave."

Maybe you and I should get ourselves to Amsterdam as I don't have any family nearby either! LOL
