Makes sense that if your work isn’t immediately chosen for distribution, you’ll be far down in the list if you’re curated later. I’ve found that any pieces I had accepted by certain publications (e.g, P.S. I Love You) were instantly curated. Others, never at all. I’ve never experienced delayed curation, to my knowledge. It either happens for me right off, or I can forget it. Work I felt absolutely merited a tap of the curation wand received nada. Who know why. Not me.
