It's tough enough being a longtime caregiver. Many carry an additional weight of guilt when a sibling or other relative implies the caregiver isn't doing it right (e.g., "You shouldn't have put mom in a home." or "You should have put her in a home long ago." or whatever).
Caregiving can take a terrible toll on the giver. Offering to spell the caregiver off for an hour, or doing something fun with them, as you suggest, is a real blessing. Your seminars are a valuable service.
