I live in a 55+ community. Many of the people I met when we moved in here 14 years ago were in their 70s then, while I was only in my 50s ... so many of them "moved on." I feel it too. It's sobering and painful to miss them and their personalities. New friends arrive, but there are holes that can't be filled.
