I know of a couple who divorced in their 80s. That was a jaw-dropper. You'd think by then you'd just see things through to the end, but, no, he said he'd had enough of her constant kvetching. He only lived one more year, but he told his grandchildren it was the best year he could remember, and he had no regrets.
