I can relate. I used to publish under my given name--Judith--and even won some literary awards that way. When I began writing humour, someone told me Judith sounded snooty (no offence to other Judiths out there), so I switched to Judy.

"What's in a name?" asked Shakespeare, saying "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." A rose? Maybe. But a ROZ?? Lol
