I also wrote about aging today, in what I hoped was a funny way, but this is the other side of that coin.My mother suffered from macular degeneration. She could no longer watch TV or enjoy reading. Apparently children of sufferers have a 50% chance of following suit. That scares me. I hope if it happens to me I will accept the limitations gracefully, but as a writer and a reader, it will be a painful loss. Good luck with your mom!
