Or unhappy hedgehogs. Who’s to say?

In my never-ending quest to amuse myself — and, maybe, you — I’ve trekked through my town and scoured the Internet in search of funny signs, witty billboards and hilarious headlines. Here are a few of my favourite finds:

This unforgettable headline had the Twitter-verse in stitches: “New US dietary guidelines include babies and toddlers.” Vegetarians tweeted their tongue-in-cheek horror. “I don’t care what the experts say, I’ve cut small children out of my diet, and that’s that!” tweeted @kinsellawarren.

A CNN headline from December 29, 2020 reads: “New US dietary guidelines include babies and toddlers for first time.”
Author’s Screen capture of the CNN headline (long since corrected).

Sometimes it’s supermarkets who screw up and inspire my put-downs.
As in: Put me down for a quart!

A yellow price label on a supermarket clamshell box of blueberries reads: Orgasmic Blueberries. $1.25.
Orgasmic Blueberries? Now you’re talking! Author’s tweet and screen capture.

Other times, it’s pharmacies who flub their labels. Sharp-eyed MD @tanyafeke spotted this one, and couldn’t resist tweeting about it:
