Exactly, Tim. We can hope that many will start seeing through the propaganda. However, a woman (Professor Olga Chyzh) who is now a professor of political science at U of T, and grew up in Ukraine speaking Russian, says on Twitter that lots of older ethnic Russians in places like Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, Belarus, etc., actually want to come under the Soviet sphere again because they had difficulty learning Ukrainian, Romanian or whatever local language, and they think (probably erroneously) that if it went as it was in USSR, they'd get back the Russian pensions they lost. She also says some older Russians in Russia kind of know in their heart of hearts that it was Russians who did the massacre in Bucha, Ukraine, etc., but they don't want to admit it to themselves. This is disheartening.
